Juli Cady Ryan was born and raised on a farm in Northwestern Indiana, in the small town of LaPorte
Juli now resides in Cincinnati, OH, where she has lived for 26 years
Her experiences growing up with a mother, then later with her children with mental illness influenced her art greatly
A self-taught artist, Juli used her own struggles and her family’s to create whimsical paintings filled with color and hope, she wanted to be a voice for those suffering with mental illnessFrom her life on a farm she found the inspiration to transfer the emotions experienced through daily contact with the beauty of nature into her paintings
She started painting using acrylics and was influenced by both Gustav Klimt’s colorful shapes and Marc Chagall’s use of color and whimsy
Recently, she has started to use materials in a nontraditional, uncontrolled, free-flowing way often mixed with unconventional materials, creating backgrounds of color and shapesHer works are sold all over the world and have been included in various publications  and exhibited in many national exhibitions
She has also self-published a children’s book,” The Sleep Fairy and Her Magic Sheep”, a children’s bedtime story

 

 

Juli Cady Ryan è nata e cresciuta in una fattoria nell’Indiana nordoccidentale, nella piccola città di LaPorte
Juli ora risiede a Cincinnati, OH, dove ha vissuto per 26 anni
Le sue esperienze crescendo con una madre, poi in seguito con i suoi figli con malattie mentali hanno influenzato notevolmente la sua arte
Artista autodidatta, Juli ha usato le sue stesse lotte e la sua famiglia per creare quadri stravaganti pieni di colore e speranza, voleva essere una voce per coloro che soffrono di malattie mentali
Dalla vita trascorsa in una fattoria ha trovato l’ispirazione  per trasferire nei suoi dipinti le emozioni vissute attraverso il contatto giornaliero con la bellezza della natura
Ha iniziato a dipingere utilizzando acrilici ed è stata influenzata dalle forme colorate di Gustav Klimt e dall’uso di colori e bizzarrie di Marc Chagall
Recentemente, ha iniziato a utilizzare i materiali in modo non tradizionale, incontrollato e scorrevole, spesso mescolati a materiali non convenzionali, creando sfondi di colori e forme
Le sue opere sono vendute in tutto il mondo e sono state inserite in diverse pubblicazioni ed esposte in svariate mostre a livello nazionale
Ha anche auto-pubblicato un libro per bambini, “The Sleep Fairy e Her Magic Sheep”, la favola della buonanotte dei bambini

Ivan RABUZIN

Ivan Rabuzin ( 1921-2008 ) è stato uno degli artisti naïf più rappresentativi e famosi della Croazia.
E’ nato a Ključ un piccolo comune vicino a Novi Marof, regione dello Hrvatsko Zagorje.
Compie la scuola statale per artigianato di Zagabria ( il suo lavoro era carpentiere)  e al tempo stesso frequenta un corso serale di disegno per imparare le conoscenze di base per avvicinarsi a quella che è stata l’autentica passione della sua vita.
Nel 1956 ha tenuto la sua prima mostra personale a Novi Marof e nel 1963 ha esposto le sue opere in una solitaria presso la galleria “ Monna Lisa “ di Parigi, dallo stesso anno si è dedicato completamente alla pittura
I suoi quadri raccontano di un mondo pittoresco dove in una luce senza ombre trovano spazio in linee rotonde, fiori, alberi, colli,nuvole
Troverete i suoi disegni sui servizi in porcellana della Rosenthal, la ditta nota in tutto il mondo

 

 

Ivan Rabuzin (1921-2008) was one of the most representative and famous naïf artists in Croatia
He was born in Ključ a small town near Novi Marof, region of Hrvatsko Zagorje.
Performs the state school of craftwork in Zagreb (his work was a carpenter ) and at the same time attends an evening drawing course to learn the basic knowledge to get closer to what was the true passion of his life
In 1956 he held his first personal exhibition at Novi Marof and in 1963 he exhibited his works in a solitary at the “Monna Lisa” gallery in Paris, from the same year he devoted himself entirely to painting
His paintings tell of a picturesque world where in a light without shadows find space in round lines, flowers, trees, hills, clouds
You will find his drawings on Rosenthal porcelain services, the company known throughout the world

Valquiria nasce nel 1951 nella piccola Jaguarão nello Stato di Minas Gerais nel sud-est del Brasile, dove rimarrà fino ai 18 anni per poi trasferirsi dal 1974 nello Stato di San Paolo
Durante gli studi compiuti a Belo Horizonte ha scoperto di poter tradurre le sue sensazioni attraverso l’arte iniziando a raffigurare alcune scene che ritraevano la sua presenza nei campi
Nei suoi quadri ritrae gli usi e costumi della sua gente e la profondità dei suoi paesaggi, in cui prevalgono i toni calmi capaci di trasmettere una sensazione di pace e armonia
Le sue figure umane sono semplici, come semplice è la sua gente, così come le sue scene rurali ritraggono la semplicità dei gesti di chi lavora nei campi
Il colore verde è una costante di tutti i suoi quadri, un colore con cui vuole trasmettere un messaggio di pace attraverso le sue raffigurazioni che sembrano delle autentiche oasi di pace in un mondo attuale pieno al contrario di frenesia

 

 

 

 

 

Valquiria was born in 1951 in the small Jaguarão in the State of Minas Gerais in the south-east of Brazil, where she will stay up to 18 years and then move from 1974 to the State of Sao Paulo
During her  studies in Belo Horizonte she discovered she could translate her feelings through art, starting to depict some scenes depicting her presence in the fields
In her paintings she portrays the uses and customs of her people and the depth of her landscapes, in which calm tones prevail, capable of transmitting a feeling of peace and harmonyHer human figures are simple, how simple her people are, just as her rural scenes portray the simplicity of the gestures of those who work in the fields
The green color is a constant of all her paintings, a color with which she wants to convey a message of peace through her depictions that look like authentic oases of peace in a current world full as opposed to frenzy

Ritchie COLLINS

Ritchie Collins è nato nel 1978 a Prestwick un paesino lungo la costa occidentale della Scozia, ha studiato Design e Illustrazione presso il College of Building and Printing a Glasgow.
Dopo aver viaggiato per qualche tempo è diventato il Gallery manager della Galleria d’arte Just Art situata in Morningside a Edimburgo.
Dal 2010 ha aperto una sua Galleria, the Ritchie Collins Gallery nel cuore di Leith storico sobborgo di Edimburgo
La pittura di Ritchie è influenzata dagli scorci delle coste scozzesi e dai paesaggi che le circondano, ma anche dall’arte celtica; colori vibranti, forme semplici e spesso in movimento si combinano insieme e danno alle sue opere un tocco di assoluta originalità
Parlando del suo lavoro, Richie dice: “Tutte le cose che dipingo provengono da sogni o ricordi di luoghi in cui sono stato. Ciò che per me è importante è cercare di catturare i veri sentimenti di un luogo nel tempo, piuttosto che la realtà”
I suoi dipinti e le stampe in edizione limitata sono in molte collezioni d’arte private

 

 

 

 

Ritchie Collins was born in 1978 in Prestwick, a small town along the west coast of Scotland, studied Design and Illustration at the College of Building and Printing in Glasgow
After traveling for some time he became the Gallery manager of the Just Art art gallery located in Morningside in Edinburgh
Since 2010 he has opened his own Gallery, the Ritchie Collins Gallery in the heart of Leith’s historic suburb of Edinburgh
Ritchie’s painting is influenced by the views of the Scottish coasts and the landscapes that surround them, but also by Celtic art; vibrant colors, simple and often moving shapes combine together and give his works a touch of absolute originality
Talking about his work Richie says: “All the things I paint come from dreams or memories of places I’ve been. What is important to me is trying to capture the true feelings of a place in time, rather than the reality.”
His paintings and limited edition prints are in many private art collections

gordonwilsonGordon Wilson è nato nel 1968 e cresciuto a Glasgow dove attualmente vive con la moglie e due figli
Ha studiato alla Scuola d’Arte di Glasgow e ha lavorato per molti anni nel mondo dell’arte come designer, corniciaio, restauratore e artista.
In gioventù Gordon fu ispirato dal cartoonist David Sutherland e dal padre che era una acquerellista, mentre altre influenze artistiche nei suoi lavori derivano da artisti come Freud, Byrne, Stanley Spencer, Howson and Currie
Lavora prevalentemente ad olio e le sue tele sono ispirate e risentono dell’influenza della sua natia Scozia
Le sue opere sono presenti in collezioni private e non in tutto il mondo.

He works mainly in oil and his paintings are inspired and influenced by the influence of his native Scotland
His works are present in private collections and not all over the world

Colette Brunelière è nata a Auvers sur Oise un piccolo paesino situato nel dipartimento della Val-d’Oise nella regione dell’Île-de-France,celebre per aver ospitato tanti rinomati artisti che qui hanno creato molti dei loro capolavori, tra tutti Cézanne ma soprattutto Van Gogh, che qui visse gli ultimi tre mesi di vita e dove è sepolto nel cimitero locale.
Colette attualmente vive a Champsur Laye, nella regione dell’Hautes-Alpes.
Dopo aver frequentato l’Università, ha cresciuto i suoi quattro figli e da alcuni anni a questa parte si dedica interamente alla sua passione, la pittura.
Questa stimata pittrice francese riesce a conciliare il mondo reale con quello dei sogni e in ogni suo quadro non si fatica a ritrovare il momento di vita che vuole in qualche modo fissare

 

 

 

Colette Brunelière was born in Auvers sur Oise a small village located in the department of Val-d’Oise in the Île-de-France region, famous for having hosted many renowned artists who created many of their masterpieces here, among all Cézanne but especially Van Gogh, who lived here the last three months of his life and where he is buried in the local cemetery
Colette currently lives in Champsur Laye, in the Hautes-Alpes region
After attending the University, she raised her four children and for some years has devoted herself entirely to he passion, painting
This esteemed French paintress manages to reconcile the real world with that of dreams and in every one of her paintings it is not hard to find the moment of life that she wants to fix in some way

Sara Mead è una pittrice scozzese che ha vissuto fino al 2007 a Paisley nel  Renfrewshire una delle 32 aree amministrative della Scozia, per poi trasferirsi a Moseley, un sobborgo di Birmingham.
Ha iniziato a dipingere con continuità dal 1999 supportata ed incoraggiata da Tom Shanks, rinomato acquarellista scozzese.
Nei suoi dipinti ama spesso ritrarre dettagli della vita quotidiana dei piccoli porti, usando tonalità calde ed appassionate che riflettono le emozioni tipiche dei paesaggi marinari.
Ha partecipato a svariate mostre in Scozia e i suoi lavori sono esposti in molteplici gallerie del Regno Unito.

Paul Robinson è nato a Penrith nel 1959, nella Contea di Cumbria nel Regno Unito ed è cresciuto nel villaggio di Lazonby nel cuore della Eden Valley.
Ha studiato arte al Carlisle College, quindi si è trasferito a Londra dove è diventato un illustratore di successo di molte pubblicazione tra cui The Sunday Times, Radio Times e Time Out magazine, per poi dedicarsi completamente alla pittura.
Nel 1999 si è trasferito nella Contea di Norfolk dove grazie alla contemplazione di un paesaggio fatto di mare e cielo ha trovato la giusta quiete per poter raccontare nelle sue tele con uno stile del tutto particolare la vita di tutti i giorni, quella che in pratica ciascuno degli abitanti può vedere dall’uscio di casa di un qualsiasi villaggio che si affaccia sulla costa del mare del Nord.

 

 

Paul Robinson was born in Penrith in 1959, in the County of Cumbria in the United Kingdom and grew up in the village of Lazonby in the heart of Eden Valley.
He studied art at Carlisle College, then moved to London where he became a successful illustrator of many publications including The Sunday Times, Radio Times and Time Out magazine, to then devote himself entirely to painting.
In 1999 he moved to the County of Norfolk where, thanks to the contemplation of a landscape made of sea and sky, he found the right quiet to be able to tell everyday in his canvases with a very particular style that life that each of the inhabitants can see from the door of a house of any village that overlooks the coast of the North Sea

Dal 15 agosto 1843, i famosi Giardini di Tivoli, regalano emozioni e divertimento a piccoli e grandi visitatori
175 anni di attività non sono un’impresa da poco, e il Tivoli ha deciso di celebrare questo anniversario speciale con  tanti eventi e nuovi spazi all’interno del parco, tra questi la parata dell’anniversario o il Tivoli Corner e il Nimb Roof, la terrazza sul tetto dell’omonimo Hotel
Oggi  i Giardini ospiteranno un bellissimo spettacolo del New York City Ballet, quest’anno unica performance europea della prestigiosa compagnia, mentre nel weekend il protagonista sarà Rasmus Klump, il personaggio preferito dai bambini danesi, un adorabile orso bruno in pantaloni a pois rossi
