Jane Moy vive da 10 anni alla periferia di Brisbane, in Australia, in un bellissimo sobborgo chiamato Wellington Point
Si è trasferita lì dopo aver vissuto in una piccola città di campagna per gran parte della sua vita ed è proprio con l’arrivo a Wellington Point che è iniziato il suo viaggio fantastico nel mondo di Millinery
La passione per i capelli l’ha sempre avuta creando copricapi per lei stessa per i vari eventi, e disegnando i vari modelli anche se in una comunità rurale non vi era un reale accesso a corsi di formazione o di modisteria e quindi era più che altro un’autodidatta
La passione per la creatività l’ha ereditata da sua madre che aveva un grande talento ed era una tessitrice di cesti e mentre viveva in campagna ha passato molte ore ad affinare le sue capacità creative attraverso tecniche di ricamo, bordatura e cucito; tutte abilità che usa ancora oggi nella sua Modisteria
Una volta a Brisbane ha avuto l’opportunità di accedere ad alcuni corsi di formazione, oltre a molti workshop e corsi per imparare e sviluppare l’arte della modisteria
Ha così avuto modo di diventare padrona assoluta di quest’arte così particolare che è la modisteria ed è riuscita a trasmettere agli altri le sue emozioni attraverso le sue creazioni che prendono forma partendo da ispirazioni che le possono arrivare da un semplice fiore che vuole ricreare su di un copricapo o dai colori e la cultura trasmessa dalla visita a un paese straniero
Jane ama sperimentare e giocare con i colori e prova nuove tecniche con mezzi diversi sui suoi copricapo per far emergere la loro individualità
La sua creatività a volte la porta come a camminare su una corda tesa senza rete, una volta iniziato sa che deve andare avanti e solo alla fine avrà tra le mani il risultato della sua inventiva
Jane mi ha detto che continuerà a fare cappelli perché sono davvero il suo amore e le hanno dato l’opportunità di esprimere la sua creatività attraverso questa forma d’arte e come non crederle visti i grandi apprezzamenti ricevuti dai suoi cappelli!

She moved there after living in a small country town for much of her life and it was with her arrival in Wellington Point that her fantastic journey to the world of Millinery began
She has always had a passion for hats by creating headpieces for herself for the various events, and designing the various models even if in a rural community there was no real access to training courses or millinery and therefore it was more than anything else. self taught
Her passion for creativity got it from her mother who was talented and basket weaver and while she lived in the country she spent many hours sharpening her creative skills through fine embroidery techinques, beading and sewing; all of which she still uses today in her Millinery
Once in Brisbane she had the opportunity to access some formal training, as well as to many workshops and courses to learn and develop the art of millinery
She was able to become the absolute master of this particular art, which is the millineryand managed to convey her emotions to others through her creations that take shape starting from inspirations that can come to her from a simple flower she wants to recreate on a headpiece or from the colors and the culture transmitted from a visit to a foreign country
Jane loves to experiment and play with colors and try new techniques with different means on her headpieces to bring out their individuality
Her creativity sometimes leads her to walk on a tight rope without a net, once she starts she knows that she must go on and only at the end she will have in her hands the result of her inventiveness
Jane told me that she will continue to make hats because she really love them and they gave her the opportunity to express her creativity through this art form and how not to believe her given the great appreciation received by her hats!

Quest’estate Olivia Rose è diventata una modista pluripremiata nel Regno Unito e in Spagna. Ha vinto il primo Best Millinery Award di Newmarket, ospitato dal talentuoso Ana Bella Millinery, e poi ha vinto il miglior cappello nella categoria “Spiaggia” alla La Palma Hat Week , organizzato dall’affascinante Judith e Karl Kinsky, e giudicata da una giuria di rinomati mugnai e professionisti del settore. Attualmente Olivia Rose lavora da sola e ha creato il suo laboratorio in una stanza della casa in cui vive con i genitori nel Buckinghamshire, usa la sua roulotte disabitata come spazio di archiviazione e sta pianificando, con l’aiuto del suo fidanzato, la trasformazione della roulotte in un laboratorio mobile, dove può lavorare mentre viaggia per Londra

Marina una mamma con la maglietta grigia macchiata del sangue del suo bambino Kirill di 18 mesi che colpito dai bombardamenti a Mariupol non è riuscito a salvarsi una volta giunto nell’ospedale privo di elettricità;
Olena, con lo sguardo perso nel vuoto , testa fasciata e volto coperto di sangue ferita nel bombardamento a Chuguev che le ha distrutto completamente la casa e che trova la forza con un filo di voce di dire “ sono stata molto fortunata”
Alla mamma di Zaporizhzhia che dovendo assistere la nonna disabile ha fatto salire su di un treno della salvezza il suo bambino di 11 anni che è arrivato da solo in Slovacchia con un numero di telefono scritto sul palmo della mano per poter contattare dei parenti
C’è poi un immagine che spiega meglio di ogni altra cosa sia la solidarietà ed è la foto che ritrae una fila di passeggini con tanto di copertine e necessaire per neonati lasciati dalle mamme polacche su un binario di una stazione dei treni in Polonia per rendere meno difficile alle mamme ucraine che arriveranno il loro viaggio lontano dalla guerra
Un pensiero va anche alle tante mamme russe che non potranno riabbracciare i loro figli mandati a morire ingiustamente

La visita guidata inizia dal Giardino dei Sensi situato nel cortile d’onore di Palazzo Taffini che rappresenta l’espressione più compiuta di MÚSES, articolato in aiuole geometriche come da modello tardo-rinascimentale, con varietà di piante scelte per stimolare i cinque sensi attraverso i colori delle fioriture, il sapore dei frutti, l’odore dell’essenze e la consistenza del fogliame
Al centro, la fontana con getti d’acqua profumati è dominata dalla scultura “La palette del pittore” dell’artista tedesco Franz Staehler; intorno le erbe officinali, i fiori, le piante ornamentali e le sculture “L’albero della vita” e “Lo specchio di Gaia” di Staehler rianimano e profumano chi lo attraversa

The MÚSES is a living museum located in Savigliano in the province of Cuneo inside the seventeenth-century Palazzo Taffini, an ancient noble residence that contains in its baroque rooms the memory of epic battles fought by the Taffins alongside the Dukes of Savoy
It is called MÚSES, with an acute accent on the “Ú” to recall the shape of the mortar with pestle used by apothecaries in ancient alchemy and the European Academy of Essences is a project conceived by the Terre dei Savoia Association to enhance the traditions and knowledge of Piedmont in the production of medicinal herbs
It defines itself as an Academy to reaffirm the etymological meaning of the Academo Garden: the collective space dedicated to learning together and in this sense the MÚSES is proposed as a home in the territory open to the scents, flavors and knowledge of Europe

E’ stato presentato al Festival di Cannes il nuovo film di Claude Lelouche “Les Plus Belles Années d’une vie” che 53 anni dopo “Un uomo e una donna” fa ritrovare i due protagonisti Jean-Louis Trintignant e Anouk Aimée ( 88 anni lui e 86 lei) in un sequel che racconta di come il tempo possa distruggere tutto ma non l’amore!
Oggi, Jean-Louis sta perdendo la memoria e vive in una casa di cura, e suo figlio François chiede allora ad Anna di andare a fargli visita, perché lei è l’unica persona che non ha dimenticato!
Questo film affronta un tema molto delicato: quando invecchi per la società non esisti più!
Niente di più sbagliato!
Certo i protagonisti hanno addosso i segni che gli anni hanno lasciato, ma nel modo in cui si guardano, in cui parlano, in cui si sfiorano c’è tutta la magia di una relazione tra due persone che non hanno mai smesso di amarsi

Perché quest’uomo e questa donna nel film non vengono percepiti come un attore e un’attrice, sono riusciti insieme ad attraversare quel palcoscenico magico dove non si finge più
