Cynthia Jones-Bryson è una modista australiana pluripremiata, è nata a Delegate nel New South Wales e ora vive nella capitale Canberra
Cynthia negli ultimi 16 anni ha progettato e realizzato fantastici modellini pluri premiati
Cynthia ha studiato Fashion Design al Canberra Institute of Technology, con la Modisteria come una delle sue materie preferite, inutile dire che eccelleva e si innamorò della Modisteria
Completati gli studi a Canberra, Cynthia ha vissuto a Londra per diversi anni dove ha intrapreso un certo numero di corsi di modisteria teatrale e il suo amore per tutto ciò che il copricapo era ormai una dipendenza
Ed è proprio a Londra che la sua passione e la sua dipendenza per tutto ciò che riguarda il copricapo si è accesa ancor di più dopo aver completato un certo numero di corsi di Millinery teatrale con la famosa Modista teatrale Jane Smith
Jane era così stimolante e appassionata della sua arte, che ha saputo trasmettere la stessa passione a Cynthia
Cynthia ha acquisito una crescente reputazione nell’élite delle corse, può vantare un numero di clienti di alto profilo, tra cui l’ex governatore generale Dame Quentin Bryce (molti i modelli create appositamente per lei) e un numero crescente di vincite nella “Fashion on the Field” , oltre ad essere la vincitrice della tanto ricercata Melbourne Cup Carnival Myer Millinery Award nel 2015; è stata finalista nello stesso premio nel 2014 e nel 2018

Cynthia Jones-Bryson is an award-winning Australian milliner, she was born in Delegate in New South Wales and now lives in the capital Canberra
Cynthia over the past 16 years has designed and produced fantastic award-winning models
Cynthia studied Fashion Design at Canberra Institute of Technology, with Millinery being one of her chosen subjects, needless to say she excelled and fell in love with Millinery
Studies completed in Canberra, Cynthia lived in London for several years where she undertook a number of theatrical millinery courses and her love for everything that the headgear was now an addiction
And it is precisely in London that her passion and her dependence on everything concerning the headgear turned on even more after completing a number of theatrical Millinery courses with the famous theatrical miller Jane Smith
Jane was so inspiring and passionate about her art that she was able to pass on the same passion to Cynthia
Cynthia has a growing reputation in the racing elite, can boast a number of high-profile clients, including former Governor-General Dame Quentin Bryce (many models created specifically for her) and a growing number of “Fashion on the Field ” winners, , as well as being the winner of the much-sought after Melbourne Cup Carnival Myer Millinery Award in 2015; she was a finalist in the same award in 2014 and 2018

8 marzo solidarietà alle donne ucraine

Migliaia di donne ucraine vivranno la giornata internazionale delle donne in fuga con i propri figli nel tentativo di raggiungere l’Europa
E poi ci sono le donne che sono rimaste in Ucraina per accudire gli anziani, per contribuire alla resistenza contro l’oppressore, per piangere i loro morti e devono vivere una quotidianità fatta di spari e bombe
A queste migliaia di donne va tutta la nostra solidarietà e vicinanza che l’Italia ma direi tutta l’Europa sta facendo sentire in maniera tangibile
Un pensiero particolare e un abbraccio virtuale vanno a :
Marina una mamma con la maglietta grigia macchiata del sangue del suo bambino Kirill di 18 mesi che colpito dai bombardamenti a Mariupol non è riuscito a salvarsi una volta giunto nell’ospedale privo di elettricità;
Olena, con lo sguardo perso nel vuoto , testa fasciata e volto coperto di sangue ferita nel bombardamento a Chuguev che le ha distrutto completamente la casa e che trova la forza con un filo di voce di dire “ sono stata molto fortunata”
Alla mamma di Zaporizhzhia che dovendo assistere la nonna disabile ha fatto salire su di un treno della salvezza il suo bambino di 11 anni che è arrivato da solo in Slovacchia con un numero di telefono scritto sul palmo della mano per poter contattare dei parenti
C’è poi un immagine che spiega meglio di ogni altra cosa sia la solidarietà ed è la foto che ritrae una fila di passeggini con tanto di copertine e necessaire per neonati lasciati dalle mamme polacche su un binario di una stazione dei treni in Polonia per rendere meno difficile alle mamme ucraine che arriveranno il loro viaggio lontano dalla guerra
Un pensiero va anche alle tante mamme russe che non potranno riabbracciare i loro figli mandati a morire ingiustamente

March 8 solidarity with Ukrainian women
Thousands of Ukrainian women will experience International Women’s Day on the run with their children in an attempt to reach Europe
And then there are women who have remained in Ukraine to look after the elderly, to contribute to the resistance against the oppressor, to mourn their dead and have to live a daily life of gunfire and bombs
To these thousands of women goes all our solidarity and closeness that Italy but I would say the whole of Europe is making felt in a tangible way
A special thought and a virtual hug go to:
Marina a mother with the gray shirt stained with the blood of her 18-month-old baby Kirill who, hit by the bombing in Mariupol, was unable to survive once he arrived at the hospital without electricity;
Olena, with her gaze lost in the void, head bandaged and face covered in blood wounded in the bombing of Chuguev which completely destroyed her house and who finds the strength with a faint voice to say “I was very lucky”
To the mother of Zaporizhzhia who, having to assist her disabled grandmother, put her 11-year-old child on a salvation train who arrived alone in Slovakia with a telephone number written on the palm of his hand to be able to contact relatives
Then there is an image that explains solidarity better than anything else and it is the photo that portrays a row of strollers complete with covers and baby necessities left by Polish mothers on a platform of a train station in Poland to make less difficult for Ukrainian mothers who will make their journey away from the war
A thought also goes to the many Russian mothers who will not be able to embrace their children sent to die unjustly

Un giorno è nulla per ricordare anni di discriminazioni, soprusi, violenze e per il riconoscimento delle lotte che sono state portate avanti dalle donne per ottenere importanti conquiste sul piano dei diritti, dell’economia e della politica.
E allora quale miglior augurio si può fare se non quello di dedicare a tutte le donne una massima di Oriana Fallaci che recita: “La vita ha quattro sensi: amare, soffrire, lottare e vincere. Chi ama soffre, chi soffre lotta, chi lotta vince. Ama molto, soffri poco, lotta tanto, vinci sempre.”

One day is nothing to remember years of discrimination, abuses, violence and for the recognition of the struggles that have been carried out by women to obtain important achievements in terms of rights, economy and politics.
So what better wish you can do if not to dedicate to all women some words of Oriana Fallaci who recits: “Life has four senses: to love, to suffer, to struggle and to win. Those who love suffer, those who suffer struggle, who fight wins. Love a lot, suffer a little, fight a lot, always win”.
